Eiffel Tower Guided Climb with Optional Summit

This one-of-a-kind adventure takes you on an immersive journey and discover Paris from a breathtaking perspective! Step into the footsteps of Gustave Eiffel himself and experience the Eiffel Tower as he once did—by climbing its stairs!

Unlike most visitors who take the elevator, you’ll walk up the stairs, enjoying a truly immersive experience filled with stunning views and fascinating stories. At every step, your expert guide will unveil the incredible history, engineering marvels, and hidden secrets of this world-famous monument.

Once you reach the second level, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the most beautiful view of Paris by taking the elevator all the way to the very top. At 276 meters more than 900 feet high, soak in the ultimate panoramic views of Paris, a once-in-a-lifetime moment you won’t want to miss!

what to expect:

1. Meeting the Tour Guide
Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time at 3 Rue Buenos-Ayres, 75007 Paris  (next to Castel Café). This is a small street directly facing Entrance 1 of the Eiffel Tower. Look for our guide holding a blue sign that says “Epic Tours.”

2. Security Checks & Ticket Purchase
The guide will accompany you through the first security check, then to the ticket line for the stairs. As waiting times can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, your guide will use this time to share the history of the Eiffel Tower, point out key monuments, and offer recommendations for your stay in Paris.

3. Climbing the Stairs
We will climb 328 steps to reach the first floor, where we’ll take a short break (restroom access available). Then we’ll continue 342 steps up to the second floor.
Guests with summit access will take the elevator to the top from the second floor and can explore it on their way down afterward.

Important Notes:

  • Tickets for the stairs are not pre-purchased and there is no reserved access. We will wait in line to purchase tickets, which can take between 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  • All participants must be present at the time of ticket purchase.
  • For guests who book the optional summit access, please note that summit tickets are subject to availability and may be unavailable due to capacity limits or technical issues. If summit closed at the time of ticket purchase, you will receive tickets to the second floor instead, along with a partial refund.
  • This is a guided experience, not just a ticket. The tour includes historical insights, panoramic views with explanations of key landmarks, photo opportunities, and local tips—adding value beyond the ticket itself.
